Indian Engineering Services -2009

UPSC has invited applications for the Indian Engineering Services Examination 2009 .The exam will conducted from June 2009 onwards.

Eligibility Conditions (in brief)

Candidate must hold a degree in Engineering or equivalent. Provided that a candidate applying for the posts of Indian Naval Armament Service (Electronics Engineering Posts) and Engineer Group A in Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing/Monitoring Organisation may possess M.Sc.Degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communication, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as a special subject. Candidates who qualify on the results of the written part of the examination will be summoned for personality test

Age limits :21-30 years as on 1.8.2009. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/Sts, OBCs and certain other categories.

Fee :

Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only)

The completed application form must reach the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, New Delhi-110069 on or before 9th February, 2009. Candidates can obtain the full information regarding how to apply and venues for examination centers at http://upsc.gov.in/
